Arkaluna Resort & Adventure is a private luxury resort hotel in Kintamani, Bali. Its 1.7-hectare estate has 14 Crystal Nest Suites, each with a private hot jacuzzi. Guests can enjoy Arkadewa dining and arrange in-suite wellness treatments and individually priced experiences.

Arkaluna welcomes couples, families and guests who value privacy, mountain air and a quieter Kintamani stay. Guest names, faces, itineraries and private moments are never shared or published without permission.

Arkaluna is set across 1.7 hectares, approximately 17,000 square meters, of private highland grounds in Kintamani.

Crystal Nest Suites are open for reservations. Uma Kayun is planned for a future opening; its room details, rates and availability will be announced when it is ready to welcome guests.

Arkaluna currently offers 14 Crystal Nest Suites.

Each Crystal Nest has a 28 m² enclosed interior and 60 m² of private patio and side garden, made up of a 36 m² patio and a 24 m² side garden.

Each suite includes a king bed, en-suite bathroom with hot-water shower, private hot jacuzzi for two, blackout curtains, mini-fridge, Wi-Fi 6, charging points, 50-inch television, sofa and included breakfast.

Yes. Each Crystal Nest Suite includes a private hot jacuzzi for two guests.

Each Crystal Nest Suite accommodates up to two adults and one child aged 9 or younger. Guests aged 10 or older are treated as adults for occupancy. No extra bed is available. Breakfast for the additional child is charged separately; please confirm the current child-breakfast charge and cot availability with the Arkaluna team before booking.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM.

No. Pets are not permitted at Arkaluna.

Direct Crystal Nest reservations are non-refundable and include one date change when requested at least 48 hours before check-in. The revised stay must begin within 12 months of the original arrival date and remains subject to availability and any rate difference.

On the coldest nights and before sunrise, temperatures at Arkaluna can occasionally fall to around 10°C during the colder dry-season period from June to September, particularly in July and August. Conditions naturally vary, so we strongly recommend bringing a warm jacket or insulating layers.

Crystal Nest Suites do not have room heaters. Kintamani can feel cold before sunrise and after sunset, so please bring warm sleepwear and insulating layers. Our lower-energy approach includes a hot-water bag in every suite and extra blankets on request. You can fill the bag with hot water from the suite, or ask our team to help.

Please bring a warm jacket or insulating layers for early mornings, evenings and cold nights. Warm sleepwear, long trousers and socks can also make the coldest periods more comfortable.

Arkaluna is approximately 1.5 km from the main Penelokan / Kintamani tourist area. The resort is intentionally tucked away from the busy road, giving guests a quieter highland stay while still keeping viewpoints, cafes and local attractions within easy reach. Complimentary local shuttle assistance can be arranged with the team during the stay.

The final village road is narrow and steep in places, and conditions can change after heavy rain. Watch the route video before travelling and ask our team for current guidance.

Yes. Guests may drive directly to the lobby after watching the route video and sharing an estimated arrival time. Assisted Pickup at Starbucks Kintamani may also be arranged in advance, subject to timing and team availability.

No. Travel to Arkaluna before check-in and onward travel after checkout are arranged separately and are not included in the accommodation rate. If you would like help arranging a private transfer, please contact our team in advance so we can confirm availability and the rate for your route. Transport provided as part of an Arkaluna Journey covers only the journey you have booked.

Yes. Private Transfer from other parts of Bali may be arranged before arrival. Availability and the applicable rate are confirmed directly according to pickup location and travel date.

No. Crystal Nest Suites are reached through Arkaluna's naturally terraced highland estate, with uphill outdoor paths and multiple steps. There is currently no lift, and the accommodation is not wheelchair accessible. Guests with mobility concerns are encouraged to contact the team before booking, so we can explain the route clearly and help assess whether the setting will be comfortable for their needs.

Yes. Breakfast at Arkadewa is included with every stay.

Yes. In-room breakfast can be arranged on request, subject to timing, weather and room preparation. A preparation and delivery surcharge may apply.

No. Arkadewa prepares meals without pork or lard.

Arkadewa is reserved for registered staying guests. Outside visitors may dine only with prior approval from resort management.

Arkaluna's estate is reserved for registered staying guests. Visitors may meet guests in the lobby; access beyond it requires advance management approval. This protects the privacy, safety and comfort of every stay.

The Arkaluna Signature Journey combines a Crystal Nest Suite, scheduled Arkadewa dining and private transport for the included outings to Mount Batur by sunrise jeep, Besakih and Penglipuran. The standard rate is IDR 6,450,000 nett · 3 days, 2 nights for two guests. The itinerary, availability and any promotional rate are confirmed with your booking.

Yes. Arkaluna Journeys are individually priced experiences, except for the Signature stay package. Our team confirms timing, availability and the total price. Stand-up Paddleboarding and Waterbike are available only as separately priced Jet Ski add-ons, sharing the included return transport.

We work with local Kintamani guides and drivers, and our team coordinates the arrangements.

Dining at Arkadewa includes afternoon tea and dinner on Day 1; breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on Day 2; and breakfast on Day 3.

On a confirmed Signature extension, each additional full day includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner at Arkadewa.

Meals follow the package menu and schedule. Food and drinks outside the menu, scheduled meal times or agreed inclusions may be charged separately.

Additional nights are booked separately as a Signature extension. IDR 3,225,000 nett per additional Signature night for two guests.

Choose up to two experiences to enjoy together each additional full day. On a confirmed Signature extension, each additional full day includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner at Arkadewa. These inclusions apply to Signature extensions only.

The Signature selection includes Toya Bungkah Hot Springs; Pura Segara Ulun Danu Batur; Batur Geopark Museum & Kintamani Market; Pura Puncak Penulisan; Pelisan Waterfall — Langgahan; Tegalalang Rice Terrace; Sebatu Melukat Ritual.

Lake Batur Boat Tour can be included by arrangement. A second experience depends on the route and timing.

Trunyan Village is arranged by request as the day's main outing; a second experience is not guaranteed. Suitability is checked before booking. Not recommended for children below 17.

Black Lava ATV, Jet Ski, Stand-up Paddleboarding and Waterbike are priced separately. Paddleboarding and Waterbike require a Jet Ski booking.

Yes. All Signature rates include tax and service. Discover special stay privileges when you book directly with Arkaluna. Individually booked experiences have separate prices and tax/service totals. Included Signature experiences are not charged again.

Please share major preferences at least 3 days before the journey start. Our team will confirm changes with the transport, guides, local partners and meal arrangements. Weather, access or guest safety may still require route-order adjustments.

It depends on the selected route. Kintamani journeys may include stairs, slopes, natural paths, cold early-morning air and changing weather. Guests with limited mobility should speak with the team before confirming a route.

For individually booked experiences, if heavy rain or volcanic ash affects safety, the team will reschedule at no extra charge or offer a full refund. Signature Journey follows its separate stay-linked terms: the team will adjust or reschedule the affected activity where possible. Light mist is normal in the highlands, and guides may adjust the pace. Sunrise and mountain visibility cannot be guaranteed.

Dress modestly when visiting temples, remove shoes before entering sacred spaces, and ask permission before photographing locals, ceremonies or rituals.

Once confirmed, Signature Journey is part of your stay reservation, not a separately cancellable tour. You may request a reschedule at least 48 hours before the journey start, subject to Crystal Nest availability, guide availability, supplier timing and the confirmed room policy.

A fare shown in Grab, GoCar or another app does not confirm a ride from Kintamani. Long-distance drivers may decline, cancel or request substantial extra charges. Confirm the journey and complete fare directly with your driver. The booking, driver coordination, fare and any dispute remain between you and the provider. Arkaluna does not negotiate, mediate, reimburse or subsidise independently booked rides.

Arrange a trusted local driver partner through Front Office in advance. We’ll confirm the route, availability and complete price before travel. If you choose an app-based ride, we may assist with a drop-off at Starbucks Kintamani, subject to timing and team confirmation. Our assistance ends there; your onward ride remains your arrangement with the app provider. Replacement transport at short notice cannot be guaranteed.
