What can I book at Arkaluna now?

Crystal Nest Suites are available now. Uma Kayun will be introduced when it is ready.

How spacious is Arkaluna?

Arkaluna is set across 1.7 hectares, approximately 17,000 square meters, of private highland grounds in Kintamani. The space gives the stay a calm, open, and private resort rhythm rather than a crowded hotel feeling.

Is in-room breakfast available?

Breakfast is served at Arkadewa, while in-room breakfast can be arranged by request for guests who prefer a quieter morning. A preparation and delivery surcharge may apply.

Is Uma Kayun available?

Not yet. Uma Kayun is coming soon and should not be treated as a stay option for current bookings.

Is Padel available now?

Not yet. The open-air padel court is coming soon and is not currently available.

Does Crystal Nest have a private hot jacuzzi?

Yes. Crystal Nest Suites are designed around a private hot jacuzzi, sunrise views, and the cool Kintamani highland setting.

Does Arkadewa use pork or lard?

No. Arkadewa prepares meals without pork or lard.

Can Arkaluna arrange Mount Batur sunrise journeys?

Yes. Our team can arrange private sunrise and jeep routes around timing, weather, and guest comfort.

How do I reach Arkaluna?

Guests can drive directly to the lobby, meet the team at the Starbucks Kintamani pickup point for assisted access, or arrange a private transfer from elsewhere in Bali.

Does Arkaluna offer Starbucks Kintamani pickup?

Yes. Complimentary assisted pickup and drop-off can be arranged from Starbucks Kintamani with our team.

Does Arkaluna offer private transfer?

Private transfers across Bali can be arranged through the Arkaluna team. Transfer fees apply.

What is included in a private journey?

Private journey inclusions vary by route and are confirmed before booking. They may include private transport, local Kintamani guide or driver coordination, entrance fees, lunch where listed, basic toiletries, and the cultural experiences included in the selected route.

What is not included?

Alcoholic beverages, travel insurance, tips and gratuities, personal gear, and optional extras outside the confirmed route or package inclusions are not included.

Can I change my Journey itinerary?

Each journey is prepared as a curated route rather than a menu of separate activities. The most seamless experience comes from following the plan confirmed before arrival. Major preferred adjustments are best requested at least 3 days before the scheduled journey start, so guide availability, supplier timing, route flow, meal timing, and guest comfort can be arranged with care.

What meals are included in the Signature Journey?

Signature Journey meals are served at Arkadewa according to the confirmed journey schedule. Depending on the selected package, inclusions may include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Food and beverages ordered outside the package menu, outside the scheduled meal time, or beyond the confirmed inclusions may be added to the guest account.

Are extra nights included in the Journey package?

For extended Signature Journey stays, guests may indicate up to 3 preferred activities for each additional full day. The schedule for those additional days should be confirmed at least 3 days before the journey start, so route flow, guides, suppliers, meal timing, and guest comfort can be arranged clearly.

Who guides the activities?

Arkaluna works with local Kintamani guides and drivers as part of our commitment to the surrounding community. Our concierge team assists with coordination so each journey remains smooth, well-paced, and connected to the highlands.

Is the Journey suitable for guests with limited mobility?

Arkaluna is located in the Kintamani highlands, where stairs, slopes, natural paths, and changing weather can be part of the experience. Guests with limited mobility are encouraged to speak with our team before booking so the route can be matched carefully to comfort and access.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the scheduled start. Between 48 and 24 hours, a 50% fee applies. Less than 24 hours before the journey is non-refundable.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If heavy rain or volcanic ash affects safety, the team will reschedule at no extra charge or offer a full refund. Light mist is normal in the highlands, and guides may adjust the pace.

What payment methods are accepted?

Arkaluna accepts bank transfer, credit or debit cards, and major e-wallets. A 50% deposit secures the reservation, with the balance due 48 hours before the journey.

Do I need special clothing or gear?

Usually no special gear is required. Towels and Balinese temple clothes are provided where needed, but comfortable shoes, warm layers, sunscreen, personal medication, and a change of clothes are recommended.

How should temple and village routes be approached?

Dress modestly when visiting temples, remove shoes before entering sacred spaces, and ask permission before photographing locals or rituals.

Is Trunyan suitable for children?

Trunyan is available by request only, may require additional charges, and is not recommended for children below 17 because of the sensitive cultural nature of the visit.
